Calling all artists from across the Asia Pacific! The Colour4Life Competition is your chance to bring your unique perspective to life through art, showcase your creativity and have your artwork recognised on an international stage.
Enter for your chance to win the Major Prize: a trip to Germany for you and a friend. In addition, the major prize winner will be honoured with the prestigious Colour4Life Award, receive a Faber-Castell Art & Graphic Woodcase Set and enjoy a dedicated social media spotlight showcasing their winning artwork to a global audience.

Nathan McCarron
Born in Tasmania, Australia, Nathan McCarron has been drawing since childhood, always reaching for his trusted Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. When the pandemic hit in 2020, he began posting his artwork on TikTok — and quickly gained a devoted following. Today, with over 1.5 million followers across platforms, Nathan collaborates with major movie studios to create artwork for global campaigns. In 2020, he became Faber-Castell Australia’s proud ambassador and the first Australian artist to work with Faber-Castell Global on TikTok. For Nathan, these pencils aren’t just tools — they’re part of his journey from passionate kid to full-time professional artist

Hi, I'm Alicia Michelle, a 21 year old visual illustrator with a passion for surrealist and fantasy themes. I'm currently a Visual Communication Design student and actively creating works. My latest work is 79m long and 80cm wide for the 79th Indonesian Independence Day. Yes, it's quite a sensation... Since I was a kid, Faber-Castell has been my first drawing medium that shaped my creativity. It has accompanied my artistic journey and left a deep imprint of memories. I believe every stroke is a window into the world of imagination, combined with professionalism, empathy, and sometimes...a little humour.

Hi, I’m Mehak Vithal, a software developer by profession and an artist by passion. My art journey began during the lockdown as a way to escape the routine of work, and over time, it became an essential part of who I am. I started with a basic box of six Faber-Castell acrylic paints from my old school kit, and I haven’t looked back since. From canvas to denim, sneakers to tote bags, Faber-Castell’s versatile and high-quality products have been my constant companion. They've always encouraged me to stay curious, explore beyond the usual, and never limit myself to just one surface or style. Whether you're a student or a professional, it's a brand that grows with your creativity.
Sharon SS Kow.CPSA
Sharon SS Kow is an artist living and working in Penang, Malaysia. She began seriously pursuing coloured pencil art in 2013 and has been a Signature Member of the Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA) since 2016. She has exhibited both locally and internationally and her artworks have been featured in several international publications. She strongly believes that colour pencil is on par with other conventional fine arts mediums and has been championing it ever since. With the support she received from working closely with Faber-Castell, coloured pencil art will gain wider global attention and recognition.

My name is Keito, a coloured pencil artist. I aim to create hyper-realistic works that resemble photographs, primarily using Faber-Castell’s oil-based coloured pencils “Polychromos.” My subjects range from still life to animals and portraits, all characterized by highly detailed and precise rendering. Through exhibitions, collaborations with companies, and publishing books, I actively work to share the charm and possibilities of coloured pencil art with a wider audience.
Xiaomi and Shishi
Xiaomi and Shishi is a colour pencil artist with over a decade of experience in realistic style colour pencil painting. Xiaomi has 248k followers across all social media platforms. Till now, she has authored 11 coloured pencil art books, which are highly appreciated by her audience. Additionally, she offers 15 online coloured pencil courses that have attracted more than 4,000 students. Xiaomi has collaborated with Faber-Castell Germany to create New Year videos for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025.
